Week Ahead | US Fed, ECB & BOE in Focus for a Strong Data influenced Week

Monday

  • GBP Mortgage Approvals
  • EUR Business Climate & Germany Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices
  • US Pending Sales

This week will be a busy week over the International Markets with High-Tier data being released from Europe, US & Great Britain.

Starting off the week will be GBP Mortgage Approval a significantly important data which will give us an insight on the current UK Housing Market Growth.

Followed by reports from Euro Zone such as Business Climate which will give us an insight on the current conditions of Business in the region.

Finally to conclude the busy day we will have both reports from Germany Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices & US Pending Sales both reports which will give investors on the Current status of each markets.

 

Tuesday

  • GBP GFK Consumer Confidence
  • EUR Gross Domestic Product & Consumer Price Index
  • US Core Personal Consumption Expenditure

United Kingdom will release their GFK Consumer Confidence report which will be an important data for the Bank of England indicating the current consumer confidence of UK Consumer Sector.

Followed by reports from Euro Zone on Gross Domestic Product a measure of the total value of all goods and services produced by the Eurozone. The GDP is considered as a broad measure of the Eurozone economic activity and health. While Consumer Price Index will give us an indication on their Current Inflationary Outlook.

To conclude the Day US will release their Core Personal Consumption Expenditure report which will be an indicator of their current Expenditure ratio in the sectors of Food & Energy a key indicator of US Inflation.

 

Wednesday

  • NZD Employment Rate & Unemployment Rate
  • US Fed’s Monetary Policy Statement & Interest Rate Decision

Wednesday even though the highlight of the day will be around US Federal Reserve Interest Rate Decision & Monetary Policy Statement, which is highly anticipated there will be another Rate hike for this quarter. New Zealand will release their Employment Rate & Unemployment rate both will be a significant indicator of their Current Job Market Conditions of New Zealand. 

 

Thursday

  • GBP Interest Rate Decision, Monetary Policy Summary & Bank of England Minutes
  • US Initial Jobless Claims & Continuing Jobless Claims

The Bank of England is widely expected to raise the Bank rate on Thursday together with the publishing of August Inflation Report.

US will release their Initial Jobless Claims & Continuing Jobless Claims which will be an indicator of the current conditions of the US Job Sector.

 

Friday

  • JPY Bank of Japan Monetary Policy Meeting Minutes
  • US Non-farm Payrolls & Average Hourly Earnings

Japan will release their reports by Dawn on Friday for Monetary Policy Meeting minutes which took place few days before. This report will be an indicator of their current Monetary Policy outlook for Japan along with future projections as well.

US will release their Non-Farm Payrolls a key indicator of the jobs added in the last month for Non-agricultural business & Average Hourly Earnings released by the US Department of Labor is a significant indicator of labor cost inflation and of the tightness of labor markets.
