Holiday modes continue this week with UK market closed due to early May’s Holiday observed and the only important data for the day will be released from Euro Markit PMI Composite & Retail Sales both of which will give us an indication of the current Europe’s Consumer Spending. Markets remain quiet for yet another day and the only major top-tier data which will be released is from Australia’s Rate Decision and Rate Statement which will give the Investors and insight on their current economic status and their future projections. Day’s highlight will be around New Zealand Interest Rate Decision & Rate Statement both will give us an indication on their current economic conditions and their future projections. Followed by Bank of Japan’s Monetary policy meeting minutes which will give us clear indication of their quarter growth and JPY probably stance against their rivals. By mid-day we will receive US Reports on US Initial Jobless Claims & Continuing Jobless Claims which will be an important data since it influences the strength and direction of the US economy. Finally to conclude a semi-busy week UK will release their Gross Domestic Product report which is considered as a broad measure of the UK economic activity. Followed by US will release their Consumer Price Index ex Food & Energy Reports is a measure of price movements by the comparison between the retail prices of a representative shopping basket of goods and services. Which will be one major draw off to the US Federal Reserve when making their interest rate decision & future policies.Monday
