Week Ahead - 16th -20th December 2018
This week will have a Slow Economic Data start with very little High-Tier reports being released across the Global Economies. Only report worth mentioning for Monday will be Euro Consumer Price Index which will be a Key indicator of the Current purchasing Trends & its inflationary levels as well in the Euro Zone. Tuesday will be bit more busier than Monday with Euro IFO Business Climate & Expectations reports being released from Germany, which will be a significant indicator on their Current Business Trends and expected outcome for the 1st Quarter 2019. To conclude the day US will release their Building permits reports which is strong indicator on the current New Building purchases and it’s Housing Market Index which is the largest component in the US GDP. Wednesday will be busy in terms of Top-tier data from UK & Canada & United States. To start with UK will release their Consumer Price Index which will give us an outline on the current purchasing power & their Inflationary levels. Followed by Bank of Canada releasing their Consumer Price Index as well. Main focus will be around the US Fed Interest Rates Decisions & their Economic Projections which is the most anticipated report for December. Analysts will look for cues from Federal Reserve on how many more Interest Rates decided for the year of 2019 & Economic Strategies. Latter part of the week picks up momentum on Economic reports and Bank of Japan will release their Interest Rate Decision & Press conference to follow with. Later on by Mid-day UK will release their Retails Sales, Interest Rates which analysts forecast will remain the same & Monetary Policy summary all of which will be important to look forward post Theresa May’s Vote survival on the Parliament last week. Finally to conclude the busy Day US will release their Initial Jobless Claims which will be significant indicator of their current Job Sector market. Later on Friday after U.S. Markets open they will release their US Durable Goods & GDP Figures which is significant indicators on their current Manufacturing sector growth & GDP will indicate their Inflationary Pressure levels which will give a key outline on their future Interest Rate Decisions for 2019Monday
